There's always Hope...

 Meeting...
Back to Full Blog

And then there were two.

Eyes locked in, viewing each moment of each other. While they sat each appraising the other, the world continued to spin by, the clock completed each tic-toc, and their hearts beat strongly and gradually in unison. Eventually fears fell away, muscles relaxed and the view became dream like – they each had donned the rose coloured glasses they had kept for this moment.

What is love? How can something so assumed be so powerful?

Regardless of the answer love does exist, and as cruel or kind as we each find it to be, the hope we find in the promise of love leads us urgently and deliberately to live…

Love that Sheena Easton song!!!

You wrote, "the hope we find in the promise of love" - hope springs eternal as we often say - and we hope to find the promise which love brings...

very provocative thoughts.

thank you

Love, so many thoughts! What does it feel like?
1) A Summer rain that chills you or a fall fain that warms your soul.
2) A salty tear of sorrow kissed away by passion.
3) Dirty diapers given with a cute smile of relief.
4) Holding hands, while walking down town, any time of the year.
5) Being with the one you love to see the sunrise or sunset.

What is love? You on a moonlit night. You keep being you Rosie!

Keep the Faith~ Cuddle

What is love? It is in the everyday, in all with whom we surround ourselves and in our love of nature and God...

Love is a profound caring for another person and a sense of excitement at being with them.

True love is having them feel the same way about you.

Playful love is getting to use the icon with hearts for eyes for the first time!

Ron! Have i told you yet just how much i love that icon! It makes me feel like warm summer mornings at the beach with good friends, sharing a bbq brekky - laughing and chatting. It's just so lovely! Thank you!

When i was little my mum and dad used to know heart break when the cartoons would end and i would cry and cry myself to sleep. When i was a little older, i remember crying still at the end of the cartoon time.

Your icon is just so lovely! Thank you...

Kind of unexplainable isn't it?

Love is responsibility. It's heavy and weighs us down. Worry springs to mind and being very careful all the time. Knowing what to share and what not to share. It's being between a rock and a hard place by choice and choosing that place again and again.

Kind of unexplainable isn't it?

Hope you are well and that you're summer isn't to intense for you. I'm studying, it's big and very scary - but i do love it...

Rosie,

Thank you for the kind comments on the icon. I am glad it brings fond memories to you.

I am unsure how I got into the Mickey Mouse thing - but any way I have one of my home offices decorated with Mickey House stuff - even curtains. I also have Mickey Mouse ties - but please don't send any more!!

cheers

Hi Rosie, Ah Love. Isn't it great? It was love at first sight for me, either that or a case of the instant flu. After 40 years of marriage, I'm still trying to figure it out. Blessings, Karen

Oh Ron, i'd love that office. Probably a great place to... ponder things. Sometimes it take a solid working imagination to work things out.

I like electricity - i'm glad someone dreamed it.

*Giggles* As it just so happens, we have a few Mickey and Friends ties here. Just give us a hoy if ever you need one.

Actually i think it was Toodles who lost his marbles wasn't it Rusty? I was so glad they brought out the movie 'Hook' so poor old Toodles could stop looking for them.

I'm hoping that you are well and you both have a lovely night...

G'day Sacred, if that's a picture of you, then you look like a real sweetie. Love is different for every one i think, so it's just so difficult to talk about it with clarity. I guess the thing to do is live it and see what happens as each moment passes.

Hope you're still smiling. So nice when a smile just glows out of us isn't it?

Rosie,

I should figure out a creative way to display my Mickey Mouse and friends ties -

I don't use the office as often as I should - right now it kind of looks like a place where I throw stuff I don't know what to do with at the moment - very sad actually. I need to stay home a little :)

meanwhile, I will have to go to work today....

cheers

You know what would be lovely - if you have a heap that is... A small quilt. Tie material is so lovely against the skin. Probably impossible to do (I wouldn't have the foggiest idea how) but that just popped into my head just then. Yeah... weird, i know.

Your office? You should see my house! Umm, actually *blush* perhaps it would be better if you didn't right now. May be after i clean it up but not just yet *giggles*.

I do hope you and June have a nice day. Cheers...

Cool bananas Sacred. It's the only philosophy i know. There's a heap out there though. Cheers mate! By the way, you'd catch your death of cold if you were dressed like that down here. There was frost on the car window this morning! Brrr!! Happy day to you...

I need to get this house in order before June comes home - it looks like a bachelor lives here!!!!

My Dad tells me Love is the energy of Creation. I was just thinking about that today, in fact - gathering thoughts for a blog post.

Well quilts are probably out of the question. You could end up with more quilts than ties! Not a great asset in the middle of summer i suppose.

I don't know what a bachlor place looks like. It can't be that bad! By the sounds of it, June will love you anyway i think mate. Smile and be well...

I don't know if i like love June. I want to be in and feel it but i don't want what it brings with it. If ever i find myself single, i hope i have the strength to stay single.

I certainly hope that you're enjoying your summer. We've had some frightful things on telly about the weather - storms and things over there. Be well...
