Lies? Why don’t we recognize the lies we tell ourselves. I wonder do we realise that when we lie to ourselves they pour out into other’s lives and that then begins a cycle of lies in their lives.

I choose to believe there is and always will be hope. But then again, perhaps that’s just another lie…

I wonder sometimes what your life must be like

It’s just something that wonders through the corridors of my mind

Fleeting and faint the voices of the past

Persistently whispering

It is touch

It is sound

Scent, sensation and movements heard

Seeping through the glass

Through the space and time of ‘where’

Are you real or a figment?

Is there truth or play?

Are you one or many?

All that I know is not worth knowing…

And then it was over. The whole day was warm to hot, but there was a breeze moving the air around so one didn’t feel suffocated. Study…  done and now – reading; there’s always reading isn’t there?

After a nice chat with sisters, and keeping a keen eye on the not very well dog; well, white fluffy thing called a dog, it’s time to pickup anything around that looks out of place.

One sock hanging from a corner of the bedroom mirror and… can some one explain how the bathroom mirror gets to look like that? The sink is just below it for goodness sake…

Ohh there’s the other sock. Gosh I’m so glad I looked and didn’t just flush it down the loo! How…? Fair dinkum!! Ohh never mind – sometimes ignorance is actually bliss.

What is THAT in the kitty litter? Umm…? I think we’ll start over again with the kitty litter.

Ahh… sometimes a tall cold drink is just wonderful isn’t it? Yep, yeppareee…

Now – dinner… hmm, perhaps Chinese takeaway? Ooo sounds good to me.

Well that’s today done. *giggles* It’s tough but someone has to do it.

“What is that doing up on the….”

Laughter filled the air – a tangible thing, new and exciting. An atmosphere of celebration filled the space though it wouldn’t seem that way to passers by.

The trees erupted in their silence, dancing the dance of eons rooted to the home – the source. Butterflies flitter and sway in the air, alighting upon blooms as seeds swirl and twist freely glistening; erupting in the morning sun.

It is the day of days, regardless of heart break or grief – this is a day to celebrate! There will never be another moment quite like this one – there will never be another breath of air or picture quite the same again. The earth cries out: “I live for you! I live for you! Come live too!”

Little things mean so much, don’t they? Find a flower and smell it. Notice the sky – just check it out. Reach up and touch your face, your hair, feel your self alive this day and choose to smile. It may not be easy – but it’s in you just waiting to burst out.

Sometimes… when the heat is too great and the dark is impenetrable… then sometimes it’s nice to dream. The sparkle of dew drops suspended upon bright fragrant petals, the brush of a scented rose against a heated cheek, as loving fingers ripple over our bodies… rain drops forming rivers… quenches the dry thirsty skin.

So have courage... and follow your own path...
