 Hope...

 Thank you...

We meet in a coffee shop somewhere situated on a busy bustling road. Every table is full and so you ask if you may join me at the one I’m sitting at. I smile and welcome you to join me for brekky. We start to chat and then we start to converse. There’s a difference you know. Chatting means not a lot, I'll chat with anything or anyone but conversing takes a lot more trust, and some how trust is forged even though we are strangers.

That night we find ourselves on the same bus and choose to sit together for the duration of our trip. We stand to disembark at the same place and communicate all the way to the same building, all the while in the same elevator, all the way up the same hall, all during the time we register for the same weekend, and we find ourselves laughing as we sit at our seats at the same table where our names on little cards have been placed.

We enjoy our meal together, and even share it with each other so naturally as though it’s always been that way. You are the only one I danced with that night, and the only one I felt comfortable with.

Then it was over. Just over. Since that one weekend I’ve never met you again…ever. Not to talk to on the phone or on the internet. Nothing…

But every moment of my life, I have measured all friendships to that one weekend when I met you. That one time I ever truly was comfortable with another human being. I have been thinking that I would like to offer you something for the gift you’ve been to my life, for being alive and existing. All I have are words at this point in time. They’re the only thing that I can offer you right now so I offer it to you from everything that matters in this world to me and wish you could know it with all my heart.

Thank you…

 The Present...

Yesterday is history

Tomorrow is a mystery

Today is a gift

That’s why it’s called:

 Our Song...

The bubbling brook would lose its song if we

removed the rocks…

 Family...

Rosie the bunny slept soundly long into the day. The giggling brook tinkled by and the sun rose high into the sky. She dreamed of daffodils and daisies, bumble bees and butterflies. She also dreamed of her brothers and sisters in a burrow far, far away.

As she opened her eyes, her senses noticed the warmth of her bed and the nurturing moss beneath her little body. The air around her was moist and full of fresh goodness and her whole self smiled as she breathed in easily the sweet life renewing atmosphere.

Reluctant to move at all, eventually Rosie popped her head up out of the “safe place” that had been prepared for her and nibbled on some surrounding leaves. Even the ordinary grass was sweetest here and she was compelled to nibble some more.

Suddenly there came a great shout from behind the huge tree and instantly her ears vaulted upright and she froze with fear. Not until another little bunny came bounding by did she begin to breathe again. The other little bunny spun around and began shouting out at someone behind the tree when he stopped mid word, noticing for the first time Rosie, sitting upright, frozen in fear her eyes glued to his every movement.

“Hello there”, he cheerfully shouted, “My name is Buck, what’s your name?” Before long Rosie was not only meeting little Buck but the rest of his family as well. There were 8 kittens in all and their mum was loving, gentle and kind. “We're off to play in the stream, you wanna come too?” As Rosie went to play with her new friends, she learned more and more; laughing, singing and playing just as all little bunnies should…

Rainbows bring different shades of hue as the magic the stream flows...
